New Addition to Peachtree Solutions Will Add More Power and Capacity for Small Businesses

Atlanta, Ga., March 27, 2006-Sage Software today announced that it will release a new product in June: Peachtree by Sage – Quantum 2007. Designed for growing small businesses that demand accuracy, control, and results from their accounting, Peachtree Quantum also will handle the specialized needs of small manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and nonprofit organizations.

Able to support up to ten named users, Peachtree Quantum will be an affordable system for companies that have fully leveraged the capacity of the current Peachtree product line or other similar small business accounting solutions. This new product will expand the Peachtree family and reinforce the current Sage Software migration strategy that ensures small businesses have familiar and affordable options to support their long term business growth. It will support small companies that need capabilities beyond those available in Peachtree Premium Accounting, but don’t yet require the depth of features in Sage BusinessWorks, or the more sophisticated accounting and operational features of higher-end solutions such as Sage MAS 90. Currently, Peachtree Complete Accounting, Peachtree Premium Accounting and the Peachtree Premium vertical industry solutions will support up to 5 users. Peachtree Quantum will support up to 10 named users and will deliver additional performance, transactional capacity and data security.

In addition to powerful general accounting, reporting and business management capabilities, Peachtree Quantum will include an array of features that growing firms will appreciate, plus:

* Enhanced Performance and Capacity – For those businesses who have outgrown Peachtree or QuickBooks ®, Peachtree Quantum will be a logical next step, with support for up to 10 named users, enhanced performance and increased transactional capacity.
* Roles-Based Security- Supporting more users creates a growing need for enhanced security. – Peachtree Quantum allows companies to set up users by role, easily enabling the setup of new users via templates for A/P, A/R and other functional areas, so businesses can maintain tighter control over their critical data.
* Peachtree Quantum Signature Care Plan – Businesses who implement Peachtree Quantum will have one year of unlimited* access to customer support along with all product updates and upgrades that are released within 12 months of their purchase. This level of service is unique at the small business level, and something typically only available with more expensive solutions.

Peachtree Quantum will include all of the features of the core and vertical Peachtree lines, plus additional functionality available only in the Peachtree Quantum product. It is expected to begin shipping in mid-June, with the rest of the Peachtree 2007 line. Pricing and Availability

Peachtree Quantum by Sage will be available direct from Sage Software or from the Sage Software network of Peachtree Certified Consultants. Pricing is $2995 for upgrading customers, $3750 for new customers.
