Salesboom.com defines “Second Generation Hosted CRM†with Workflow Automation
Salesboom April 15th, 2007Salesboom.com, industry leading provider of hosted CRM software, today announced a completely new customizable Workflow Management engine to be introduced to the Salesboom suite of hosted CRM products with the upcoming release of Salesboom v7.0. Promising to “challenge the very definition of CRM†according to Salesboom’s President and Co-founder Rami Hamodah, the new Workflow Management system, concentrating on customizable Business Process Management (BPM); will be free of barriers and restrictions found in other CRM products like Salesforce.com (NYSE: CRM). It will also be the first of many “Intelligent CRM†upgrades Salesboom has planned, and features a predictive Automated Routing System, Automated Escalation procedures, as well as an Intelligent Auto Response System.Â
“This is a huge step forward for hosted CRM software as an industry,†Commented Mr. Hamodah. “What we’re releasing is essentially the Second Generation of hosted CRM. Intelligent and Predictive Behavioral CRM has never been seen before. Our competitors, such as Salesforce.com, are apparently content to stagnate and not contribute any innovation to the future of business process automation. Salesboom, however, will continue to be at the forefront of future hosted CRM trends. This new release will be certain to change the very definition of CRM. Intelligent CRM is the wave of the future, and Salesboom is the only pioneer.â€
Salesboom goes beyond the limits of other hosted CRM providers first generation Workflow Management systems. Salesforce.com’s business process workflow is constrained to a narrow definition, in that it limits what process flow you can configure it to facilitate and lacks a time-based workflow management. Salesboom is aiming to allow its customers to repurpose existing workflows for new ones, and enables them to carry their process automation over to ERP specific functions such as Billing and Invoicing. It also includes provisions for approval routing and time-based workflow, while tying in the Salesboom instant messenger as an integral part of the workflow engine.
