About Eclipse BIRT
Eclipse BIRT is an open source reporting system consisting of a report designer and a runtime component that can be added to your own app server. Scalable tools and features include grouped and organized lists, numerical charts, cross-tabs or matrices, letters and documents, and compound reports that format various reports into one.
Eclipse is headquartered in Ontario, Canada. In 2003, Eclipse won the SD Readers’ Choice Award for “Best Value, Best Open Source Tool and Most Improved Tool.” In 2005, the company one the LinuxQuestions.org Members Choice Award for “IDE of the Year,” and in 2006 it wond the JAX Reader’s Choice Award for “Best Open-Source Java Project.”
