Red Hat Ceph Storage is a massively scalable cloud-based storage platform for cloud infrastructures, data analytics, media repositories, and backup and restore systems. The platform combines block, object and file storage within a single system, efficiently and automatically manages all company data, and supports backward compatibility to existing block storage resources by using storage network standards, iSCSI and Network File System.
The software is equipped to store high-performance objects such as video delivery networks, cloud DVR, and network functions virtualization, and enables companies to deploy storage clusters and NVMe SSD in performance tiers optimized to support bandwidth, latency and IOPS requirements. Additionally, the platform is built for interoperability through integration with the Red Hat OpenStack Platform, Nova, Cinder, Swift, Glance and Manila.
