Without additional information on the type of business, it is impossible to say which SaaS based ERP/CRM is the best. I work for Blue Link and we provide SaaS and hosted ERP software, complete with a CRM component for primarily wholesale and distribution businesses. There are a lot of other vendors within the market that offer an ERP system with CRM for a variety of specific industries. I would start by searching for industry specific systems. To see the complete range of industries we cater to visit our site www.BlueLinkERP.com.
I agree with Samantha - depending upon your type of business, there are some excellent SaaS solutions. Rootstock has a very comprehensive suite of Manufacturing Software solutions delivered on the Salesforce Platform. Rootstock caters to the sophisticated manufacturing enterprise with multiple divisions, lot and serial tracking, project control, and true MRP requirements.
Hi Andre -
Do you have inventory control, order fulfillment, distribution requirements? If so an ERP will have limited capabilities in this space. Look for an ERP that has best of breed accounting, manufacturing, etc... and leave the back office processing for finished goods to a best of breed Warehouse Management Solution (WMS). If you have requirements in this space I'd be happy to discuss with you Snapfulfil Cloud/SaaS based WMS to see if a fit.
ERP/CRM system is unique to your business. What makes any system "Best" depends on your desired functions. Now with the advent of SaaS, the score goes beyond just functions. Its all about customer experience, user experience and adaption of the system to fit your business. One such system you may look at is bpm'online CRM: the in-built engine makes it possible to customize the whole system to fit with your intricate details. Its a platform-based CRM, and that platform can be extended without additional cost to your business to incorporate ERP features, such as inventory, distribution etc. See it here http://www.bpmonline.com/products/xrm
