Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite is a business intelligence solution that provides comprehensive functionality for reports, analytics, predictive models and more. At the start, users need to define all the metrics, data sources and calculations they wish to gain insights on. The system can then generate reports and visualizations on demand and field ad hoc inquiries from users. For example, these reports can analyze profitability, model out what-if scenarios and help with enterprise planning. The product can also take all BI data and compare it against KPIs at a variety of organizational levels. Lastly, Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite can set enterprise goals and track a company’s progress in reaching each one.

Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation Suite 11g allows users to take advantage of enterprise reporting, dashboards, ad-hoc analysis, multidimensional OLAP, scorecards and predictive analytics on an integrated platform. New features include but are not limited to view suggestion, performance tiles, waterfall graphs, map views and 100 percent stacked charts.
