About Couchbase Big Data Platform

Couchbase uses NoSQL as an open-source database to keep up with the exponential growth of web applications in recent years. The Couchbase Server distributes data across servers or virtual machines. This essentially “schema-less” approach allows for faster, more comprehensive usage of data cross the enterprise.

The NoSQL open-source database enables cost-effective data management underlying web and mobile apps. Some of the system’s characteristics include application flexibility, continuous auto-sharding (which speads data across different platforms without applications reciprocating), distributed query support and integrated cacheing that keeps a constant flow of data. The Couchbase Server includes built-in managed object cacheing at fast speeds, allowing its users to easily deploy and manage production.
