Accellos has announced the release of Accellos One Optimize Version 2.3, a new load building and route optimization platform for efficiency in warehouse software.
Accellos has long been a global provider of logistics, warehouse software, third-party logistics, transportation and mobile fleet management software solutions. They are headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Optimize 2.3 has many new features that appeal to companies looking to benefit from load building and route optimization paired with carrier rating and selection in a warehouse software solution.
Some of these new features include rate shipments for costs and charges that calculate profitability of shipments, full-featured LTL and TL rating system with user-defined rates, and automatic “lowest cost” or “preferred” carrier selection and rating.
Other features listed are comparing private vs. public fleet costs, advanced shipping modes and equipment codes, interface to Southern Motor Carrier’s Rate Ware XL for external tariff rating and interface to PC Miler Web Services, to name a few.
Accellos One Optimize will enable 3PL’s, distributors, retailers and manufacturers to maximize the effectiveness of their freight spend. It will combine load building, optimization and routing decision support and for the least cost shipping it. Operating costs are normally reduced by 10 to 20 percent.
Recently, Accellos issued a case study of its customer Piggly Wiggly Carolina Company. The study demonstrated how Accellos One Optimize has significantly reduced the company’s transportation costs and improved staff productivity. They have done so by dynamically organizing its loads and routes for maximum efficiency.
Ross Elliott, the Chief Technology Officer of Accellos, said this latest version of Accellos One Optimize would provide even more power and versatility to transportation and logistics providers by using the new software’s load and route optimization solution.
