DonorPerfect Pricing: Plans, Add-Ons and What Nonprofits Actually Pay

DonorPerfect Pricing: Plans, Add-Ons and What Nonprofits Actually Pay

Last updated: October 8, 2026 · Independent buyer’s guide · We do not sell rankings or coverage.

DonorPerfect pricing starts at $99 a month, according to the vendor’s own pricing page, but that figure is a floor rather than a price list. DonorPerfect sells three plans (Core, Plus and Pro) and quotes every one of them privately, with the quote shaped by your number of constituent records, the plan you choose, your support package and any add-ons. Payment processing is billed separately per transaction, and in our illustration below it adds nearly as much each year as the subscription itself. This guide sets out what DonorPerfect publishes, what it leaves to the sales call, and how its total cost compares with three similar donor databases.

DonorPerfect pricing at a glance

The table below lists only prices that each vendor publishes. Where a vendor quotes privately, we say so. All prices were checked on October 8, 2026, and are in US dollars.

Vendor Plan or tier Published price (checked October 8, 2026) What is included
DonorPerfect Core “Starting at $99/month” for the product family; Core price itself not published Donor management, donation, volunteer, membership and event forms, donor portals, integrated payment processing, digital wallets, Constant Contact Lite, chat support
DonorPerfect Plus Not published (custom quote) Core plus QuickBooks integration, ReadySetAuction, crowdfunding, moves management, batch gift entry, automated alerts, 5 scheduled reports, Constant Contact Standard
DonorPerfect Pro Not published (custom quote) Plus features, enterprise direct mail segmentation, enterprise reports and graphs, custom API access, 100 scheduled reports, chat and phone support
Bloomerang Bloomerang CRM From $125/month, billed annually; scales by record count Donor CRM, reporting, engagement tools, mobile app, unlimited users
Little Green Light Single plan, priced by records $45/month up to 2,500 records; $60 up to 5,000; $75 up to 10,000; $90 up to 20,000 All features, unlimited users, no setup fees or contracts
Neon CRM Three tiers by annual revenue From $99/month; tier prices not published Unlimited records and users, email, forms, payment processing, phone support

DonorPerfect’s pricing page states the plan features above and offers a “custom quote” form, but it gives no price for Core, Plus or Pro individually (DonorPerfect, no date shown). The comparison vendors are profiled further down. For a wider feature comparison of these platforms, see our donor management software guide.

Why you will see two different starting prices

DonorPerfect’s own pricing page says plans start at $99 a month. Two major review directories show a different number. Capterra lists DonorPerfect from $119 per month (Capterra, no date shown), and G2 lists the Core plan “starting at $119/month,” with its pricing data marked as last updated March 31, 2026 (G2, March 31, 2026).

We treat the vendor page as the current published figure, because it is the primary source. You should still ask your sales representative which figure applies, what record count it assumes and whether it is a monthly or annual-commitment price. Neither number tells you what a 10,000-record organization on Plus will pay.

What drives your DonorPerfect quote

Constituent records

DonorPerfect does not publish record limits per plan, but its quote form asks every prospect for a “Number of Constituents” in bands that run from 0 to 500 up to 200,001 and above (DonorPerfect, no date shown). That is a strong signal that record count is a main pricing input. Before you request a quote, count active records honestly, including lapsed donors, volunteers and event attendees you plan to migrate, because moving into a higher band later changes your renewal.

Plan tier

The jump from Core to Plus is where many development teams land. Plus is the first plan with the QuickBooks integration, moves management for major gifts, batch gift entry and automated alerts and tasks. If your finance team reconciles gifts to QuickBooks every month, Core alone will leave that work manual. Pro adds enterprise segmentation, enterprise reporting and custom API access, which matter mostly to larger shops with a data or IT person.

Users

DonorPerfect’s pricing page does not state a user count or a per-user charge for any plan. Bloomerang, Little Green Light and Neon CRM all publish unlimited users, so ask DonorPerfect directly how many logins your quote covers and what an additional user costs.

Support package

Chat support is included with every DonorPerfect subscription. Phone and email support is sold as an additional support package, which DonorPerfect calls its most popular support service, and its price is not published (DonorPerfect Support, no date shown). The pricing table lists phone support as included only on Pro, so Core and Plus buyers who want to call someone should price that package separately.

Add-ons and extra costs

Payment processing fees

DonorPerfect Payment Services is the integrated processor. Its product page promises “No monthly fee*, no setup fees, no annual fees” but does not publish rates (DonorPerfect, no date shown). We found no current fee schedule on DonorPerfect’s site. The only rates we found are in a transaction fee summary, branded “Powered by SafeSave,” that is linked from DonorPerfect’s payment services factsheet (DonorPerfect factsheet, May 28, 2026). The summary itself carries no date, and its file properties show it was created in 2017 (DonorPerfect Payment Services fee summary, undated, file created 2017). The table shows what that document states, not a confirmed current rate:

Fee Rate stated in the 2017 fee summary
Visa, Mastercard, Discover 2.89% plus $0.30 per transaction
American Express 3.39% plus $0.30 per transaction
E-check (ACH) 0.75% plus $0.35 per transaction
Card vault storage $0.30 one time per stored record
Account Updater $0.99 per updated card

Because the summary appears to be about nine years old, ask for a current fee schedule in writing. Also read the fine print: the summary defines a billable transaction as “any billable occurrence,” including voids, refunds, authorizations and declined attempts. Recurring gift programs with many card failures will pay more than the headline rate suggests.

Online forms

Donation, volunteer, membership and event forms are listed as included in all three plans. DonorPerfect also offers Givecloud, an online fundraising platform that SofterWare (DonorPerfect’s developer) acquired and that syncs with DonorPerfect in real time (DonorPerfect, no date shown). The DonorPerfect-branded Givecloud pricing page lists Standard at $79 a month billed annually plus a 2.5% platform fee, and Pro at $229 a month billed annually plus a 2.0% platform fee, with onboarding packages at $699 and $999 (DonorPerfect x Givecloud, no date shown). Those platform fees sit on top of card processing, so a nonprofit that adds Givecloud is paying two percentages on each online gift.

Text giving

Text-to-give runs through DP Text, an integration that adds SMS and MMS campaigns, text-to-pledge and polls. Its FAQ answers “How much does DP Text cost?” by directing you to a custom quote, so no price is published (DonorPerfect, no date shown). For reference, Bloomerang publishes its Text Fundraising package at $159 a month (Bloomerang Help Center, no date shown).

Data migration and onboarding

DonorPerfect advertises “free data transfers from most CRMs” on its pricing page, and its switching page lists eTapestry, Excel, Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, Network for Good and GiftWorks among supported sources (DonorPerfect, no date shown). Its onboarding page says stored credit card migration is available for organizations with at least 25 stored cards (DonorPerfect, no date shown). Confirm in the quote whether your source system qualifies as free and whether custom fields and attachments are included. DonorPerfect also sells Professional Services, such as a system tune-up or data alignment, and publishes no prices for them (DonorPerfect, August 26, 2026).

Illustration: first-year cost for a small nonprofit

The figures below are an illustration built from published rates, not a quote. The DonorPerfect card rate is the one stated in its 2017 fee summary. Assume a nonprofit with 4,000 records that processes 400 online card gifts a year averaging $75 ($30,000 in total), all on Visa, Mastercard or Discover.

Vendor Subscription (published floor) Card fees on $30,000 Illustrative year one
DonorPerfect Core $1,188 ($99 x 12, if quoted at the floor) $987 (2.89% + $0.30, per the 2017 fee summary) About $2,175
Bloomerang CRM $1,500 ($125 x 12) $1,080 (3.2% + $0.30, CRM forms) About $2,580
Little Green Light $720 ($60 x 12, up to 5,000 records) From $780 (2.2% + $0.30) From about $1,500
Neon CRM $1,188 ($99 x 12, if quoted at the floor) Rates not published Cannot be calculated

Two cautions apply. DonorPerfect and Neon CRM may quote above their floors once your record count or revenue is known, and the DonorPerfect card rate comes from an undated fee summary whose file was created in 2017. If you need QuickBooks sync, you are pricing DonorPerfect Plus, not Core, and that number only comes from a quote.

How to compare quotes

Ask every vendor to quote the same scenario: your real record count, your expected growth over three years, the number of staff logins and the integrations you need. Then put the quotes side by side on total annual cost, not monthly subscription.

  • Get the plan name, record ceiling and user count written into the order form.
  • Ask for the renewal increase policy and request a written cap.
  • Ask for the current card, ACH and Amex rates, plus refund, decline and card updater fees.
  • Price phone support, text giving and any form platform separately, then add them back in.
  • Confirm what the free data transfer covers and what counts as a custom conversion.
  • Ask whether a monthly price requires an annual commitment.

CostBench, a third-party pricing site that earns affiliate commissions, reports a median DonorPerfect contract of $18,378 a year from five buyer reports (CostBench, June 13, 2026). Five reports is a small sample, and the page does not show which plans or record counts those buyers had, so use it as a prompt to ask questions rather than a benchmark. Our nonprofit software pricing guide covers discount programs and how to budget across accounting, donor and grant tools.

Vendor profiles

DonorPerfect

DonorPerfect bundles forms, payment processing and Constant Contact into every plan, and its Plus tier carries the workflow tools (moves management, batch entry, QuickBooks sync) that growing development teams use most. The card rates in its 2017 fee summary are lower than Bloomerang’s current published rates, but they may not be current. The limitations are pricing opacity: no per-plan prices, no published record limits or user counts, and phone support sold separately below Pro.

Bloomerang

Bloomerang publishes a starting price for each product and states that every plan includes unlimited users (Bloomerang, no date shown). Its processing rates are fully published and dated (Bloomerang Help Center, July 20, 2026). The trade-off is higher card rates on its Fundraising forms (3.95% plus $0.30) and separately priced packages for text giving, auctions and peer-to-peer.

Little Green Light

Little Green Light publishes its full price ladder by record count, includes all features and unlimited users, and charges no setup or cancellation fees (Little Green Light, no date shown). It is the cheapest published option here for small databases. It relies on Stripe or PayPal for processing and has fewer built-in fundraising modules than DonorPerfect, so organizations that run auctions or crowdfunding will add other tools.

Neon CRM

Neon CRM starts at $99 a month and prices by annual revenue rather than records, with unlimited records and users at every tier (Neon One, no date shown). That model suits a nonprofit with a large but low-value database. Tier prices, setup fees and Neon Pay processing rates sit behind a gated pricing guide, and Neon charges from $50 a month to use an outside processor (Neon One, no date shown).

How we researched this

On October 8, 2026, we read DonorPerfect’s pricing page, support, onboarding, payment services, DP Text, Givecloud and switching pages, and the payment fee summary DonorPerfect links from its factsheet. We compared them with the published pricing pages of Bloomerang, Little Green Light and Neon One, and with the DonorPerfect listings on Capterra, G2 and CostBench. We include only published figures, label our own calculations as an illustration, and did not request quotes. If you are weighing a move from Blackbaud, our Raiser’s Edge NXT alternatives guide covers migration cost.

Frequently asked questions

How much does DonorPerfect cost per month?

DonorPerfect says its plans start at $99 a month, and Capterra and G2 list a starting price of $119 a month. The vendor does not publish a price for Core, Plus or Pro, so your actual monthly cost depends on a custom quote based on records, plan and add-ons.

Does DonorPerfect charge by number of records?

DonorPerfect does not publish record limits, but its quote form asks for your number of constituents in bands from 0 to 500 up to more than 200,000. That indicates record count affects the quote. Ask the sales team to write your record ceiling and the cost of the next band into the order form.

What are DonorPerfect’s payment processing fees?

DonorPerfect does not publish a current rate on its website. The only fee summary it links to is undated, and its file was created in 2017. That document lists 2.89% plus $0.30 for Visa, Mastercard and Discover, 3.39% plus $0.30 for American Express, and 0.75% plus $0.35 for e-checks, with no monthly or setup fee. Ask for the current schedule in writing before you sign.

Is phone support included with DonorPerfect?

Chat support is included on every plan. Phone support is included on Pro, while Core and Plus customers buy phone and email support as a separate package whose price is not published.

Is DonorPerfect cheaper than Bloomerang?

At published entry prices, DonorPerfect starts at $99 a month and Bloomerang CRM at $125 a month billed annually, and the card rate in DonorPerfect’s 2017 fee summary is lower than Bloomerang’s current rate. Both quote by record count above the entry level, so compare full quotes for your own database size.

Does DonorPerfect have a free plan or free trial?

DonorPerfect’s pricing page offers no free plan or self-service trial of the software, only demos and custom quotes. The one trial it mentions is a free trial of Practivated, an AI tool for practicing donor conversations, with Plus and Pro. Capterra also lists no free version or free trial. Little Green Light, by comparison, offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card.
