NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW): What It Does, Cost and When You Need It

Last updated: November 3, 2026 · Independent guide · We do not sell rankings or coverage.
NetSuite Analytics Warehouse (NSAW) is Oracle’s add-on data warehouse for NetSuite customers. It copies NetSuite data on a schedule into an Oracle-managed warehouse, models it into prebuilt tables, and lets you blend it with Salesforce, Shopify and other data in Oracle Analytics Cloud. You need it when reporting must combine years of history or non-NetSuite data, which saved searches and SuiteAnalytics Workbook do not handle well. At SuiteWorld on October 26, 2026, Oracle said the product is now called NetSuite Data Intelligence (NetSuite press release, October 26, 2026).
What NetSuite Analytics Warehouse is
Oracle’s documentation defines NSAW as “a data pipeline, data warehouse, semantic model, and best-practice content such as ready-to-use KPIs, dashboards, and reports.” The service extracts data from your NetSuite instance and loads it into an Oracle Autonomous AI Lakehouse instance; Oracle’s product data sheet describes the same base as Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse. Oracle Analytics Cloud is included as the reporting layer (Oracle docs, September 30, 2026; NetSuite data sheet, 2025).
The data sheet describes a star schema data model with a business-friendly semantic layer, so analysts work with business terms instead of raw record tables. You set a refresh schedule for the incremental load, and you can schedule frequent refreshes of applicable functional areas (Oracle docs, September 30, 2026; Oracle docs, September 30, 2026).
For non-NetSuite data, Oracle lists cloud connectors for Salesforce, Shopify and Google Analytics plus preview connectors such as Snowflake and QuickBooks Online, and CSV extractors for SFTP and AWS S3 (Oracle docs, September 30, 2026).
How it is licensed
Oracle’s service description, effective June 15, 2026, lists three tiers. Standard includes up to 10 named users and 1 TB of storage. Premium includes up to 50 users and 3 TB. Enterprise includes up to 100 users and 5 TB. Each tier includes one sandbox on request. Extra users come in 5-user packs, and the Standard tier excludes data extraction to third parties (Oracle service descriptions, June 15, 2026). Oracle does not publish NSAW prices; it is quoted as a NetSuite add-on (NetSuite product page, no date shown).
An example
Illustration only. A distributor runs NetSuite for orders and inventory, Shopify for its web store and Salesforce for B2B pipeline. The CFO wants five years of gross margin by customer segment next to Shopify orders and Salesforce pipeline. Today an analyst exports three saved searches each month and joins them in Excel.
With NSAW, NetSuite tables and the Shopify and Salesforce connector data land in one warehouse, and one Oracle Analytics Cloud workbook shows the combined view as of the last scheduled load.
How it is used in practice and compared with other tools
Most companies start with saved searches and SuiteAnalytics Workbook. Workbook is enabled by default in all NetSuite accounts and supports multilevel joins across record types, including custom records (Oracle docs, no date shown; Oracle docs, no date shown).
| Option | Data | Non-NetSuite data | Cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| SuiteAnalytics Workbook | Inside NetSuite | No | Included in NetSuite accounts |
| NSAW (NetSuite Data Intelligence) | Scheduled copy in Oracle’s warehouse | Yes, via Oracle connectors and CSV | Quoted add-on, not published |
| Third-party BI (for example Power BI) | Your own warehouse or a connector | Yes | Power BI Pro $14 per user per month, plus connector and warehouse costs |
The third-party route typically pulls data through SuiteAnalytics Connect, which must be provisioned for your account by NetSuite (Oracle docs, no date shown), into a warehouse such as Snowflake, and then into a tool such as Power BI, which Microsoft lists at $14 per user per month paid yearly (Microsoft, no date shown). You control the model and tools but maintain the pipeline yourself. NSAW gives you a prebuilt NetSuite model and Oracle-managed upgrades, but ties you to Oracle’s analytics tools. How we researched this
We read Oracle’s NSAW and NetSuite documentation, the June 2026 service description, the October 2026 SuiteWorld press release and Microsoft’s Power BI pricing. We also reviewed the top-ranking pages for this term, mostly written by NetSuite partners that sell services, and added what they omit, such as tier limits and the new name.

Frequently asked questions
Is NetSuite Analytics Warehouse the same as NetSuite Data Intelligence?
Yes. NetSuite’s October 26, 2026 press release describes NetSuite Data Intelligence as the product formerly known as NetSuite Analytics Warehouse. Oracle’s technical documentation, updated in September 2026, still uses the NSAW name, so expect both names in quotes and help articles.
How much does NetSuite Analytics Warehouse cost?
Oracle does not publish NSAW pricing. It is quoted as an add-on to your NetSuite subscription, and the price depends on the tier (Standard, Premium or Enterprise), extra 5-user packs and any added storage.
Is NSAW data real time?
No. NSAW loads NetSuite data into the warehouse on a schedule you set, and you can schedule frequent refreshes of applicable functional areas. For live transaction-level views, SuiteAnalytics Workbook and saved searches read NetSuite directly.
Do I need NSAW if I already use Power BI?
Not necessarily. If you already run a warehouse and a NetSuite pipeline, NSAW mainly adds Oracle’s prebuilt model and managed upgrades. It suits teams without data engineers who want a packaged model.
