Colleen - Are you inquiring from the perspective of a nonprofit organization? Blackbaud specifically develops solutions for nonprofits, whereas Dynamics GP can be used broadly right out of the box.

James - Yes. We are a 501c3 community services organization. We've been on Lawson for about 10 years and are seeking a new solution for financial management (GL, AP, AR, Project/Cost Accounting, grant management, and budgeting). We have narrowed the field to Blackbaud and Dynamics GP. We currently use Backbaud's Raiser's Edge for CRM. Thanks!

If you're already using Raiser's Edge, I'd be inclined to stay within Blackbaud. There's really tight integration between Raiser's Edge and Financial Edge and a relatively consistent UI across both products. Like Raiser's Edge, Blackbaud's accounting solutions have incredible functionality but they're a little lacking in the ease-of-use department, though if you've adapted to Raiser's Edge you'll probably do fine with Financial Edge.
