We have about 30,000 heads or Growers and Layers. Our set-up is we have a POULTRY FARM where we have layers to produce our eggs, a feed mill to make our feeds, and with employees of about 20. In the farm, we deal with inventory management of our eggs, layers and feeds and its ingredients, medicines, mortalities….We also conduct vaccination programs and maintain records to maintain good performance level of egg production. We also need to keep track of our heavy expenses in the purchases of our chickens, feed ingredients, medicines and vaccines, infrastructure, salaries and wages, water and electricity, etc. Then, we have a store 30 kms from the farm to market our eggs.
We also maintain 2 service trucks to vend our eggs door to door. We have a big need of a software to help us track our sales and expenses and especially an auditing system that can help us minimize or eliminate pilferage. PLEASE I SO BADLY NEED YOUR HELP TO SUGGEST THE RIGHT SOFTWARE TO USE. I’m not a techie but I’m sure with your help and suggestion/recommendation, I would be able to catch up and of course, with the applicable software to back me up. It sounds like you need an ERP solution for your farm, and there are several options. You could check out PoultryManager.com, which has modules for supply chain, medical, hatchery, etc. Alternatively, you could work with a Microsoft Dynamics reseller to set up a customized solution for your business. I believe that Microsoft Dynamics NAV could be tailored to meet your needs.
