In short, Joao, lots!

Until recently, Software as a Service has been geared toward small to medium-sized businesses who save IT and implementation costs through a cloud solution. However, as technology has strengthened so has the complexity of software cloud can offer.

Check out our Top 5 Cloud ERP article for some powerful cloud solutions like Microsoft Dynamics and Epicor. Some ERP solutions are indeed cloud-ready.

Hi Joao -

If you have Inventory Control / Distribution / Order Fulfillment requirements you'll likely need to look outside of an ERP for a Warehouse Management Solution (WMS) to meet these challenges. Snapfulfil is a Cloud/SaaS based WMS that integrates with leading ERP's. Let me know if there is an interest to learn more.

Joao, Just about everybody who has an ERP package is now hosting it and pricing it monthly. That's Software As A Service in the cloud. There are also a few that are true multi-tenant solutions that were built from the ground up to run in the cloud. The big difference is the multi-tenant packages are less expensive for the vendor to maintain so theoretically they can charge less for them. SAP Business ByDesign, NetSuite, Plex are all multi-tenant and full featured ERP systems.
